Job description

TL;DR - Rapidly growing revenue operations agency with an award-winning culture seeks highly-motivated entry-level database whiz to train alongside a 5-star team.

About OBO

Obo. Agency is a Revenue Operations Agency with offices in both Columbia, MD, and Washington, DC. Our interdisciplinary team of business analysts, technologists, developers, and marketers optimize our client's revenue cycle and customer journey by defining their organization's business process and creating custom technology stacks to support a seamless flow of information.

We have genuine working relationships with our clients and operate with a “raving fans” mindset, always striving to exceed the expectations we set. This approach to service has resulted in healthy, steady growth since our beginnings as a tiny start-up in 2016. Our organization is on the precipice of its next growth spurt, and we're looking for dedicated, passionate, fun people to grow with us.

We’ve been recognized twice by the Baltimore Business Journal ranking as a “Best Place to Work”. We offer a sincere culture that values ownership, teamwork, and continued learning. Check out what our team is saying about us on Glassdoor. If you’re looking for a company that cares about your success, wants you to develop your skills, and is looking for great people to grow with them you may have found your work-home.

What To Expect:

We are looking for a passionate, data-minded individual to tackle any and all challenges that come their way; someone who works quick on their feet and loves learning new technologies. You will be working very closely with every member of our tech team to analyze our client's business data and systems. You will also be working on internal projects such as: setting up workflows in software like Salesforce & HubSpot, integrating data into new systems, ensuring data cleanliness, assisting project scoping and client assessments, and development work using languages like Python, HTML, Javascript, and CSS.

We like transparency and know you probably don't want to apply to a "Mystery Box" job, so here's a rough idea of what you can expect:

On your first day you will:

  • Get all the basics set up with our Ops team.
  • Meet the crew during a virtual welcome lunch!
  • Shadow your new team in structured training.

In the first week you will:

  • Gain familiarity with our business and processes by working directly with your team and clients.
  • Gain familiarity with our technology stack and SOP's
  • Begin your training on platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, etc

In the first month you will:

  • Understand how your team executes work and independently complete tasks from backlog.
  • Learn the basics of data integration projects and start practical applications of this process.
  • Participate in client activities and planning meetings.

In the first three months you will:

  • Have a broad understanding of our client’s various technologies and systems.
  • Work autonomously on basic tech and data tasks.
  • Develop a high-level understanding of assessments, data integration projects, and business process mapping.
  • Set long-term growth goals with your team leader to continue your professional development.

From there, you’ll continue learning and developing skills that will help you become a key member of our growing team.
