About The Position:

The Director will oversee and ensure the success of technology projects by working with clients as well as providing strategic and technical guidance and mentorship to our hardworking team of consultants, engineers, and system architects.

This dynamic position requires a combination of client-facing communication and technical expertise. This person will also expand our team’s capabilities through mentorship and hands-on training.

As the  Director, you will identify the steps to reach client goals -- for example, helping clients better align sales and marketing through robust integrations and smart deployments. You’ll recommend technologies to implement, work with external vendors and internal resources to achieve client goals, track results, and resolve problems that may come up and ensure engagement success.

The  Director is not only a strong leader and strategist but also skilled in guiding the team through issues that may arise throughout client engagements. You should be able to step in when your team needs help in designing systems and troubleshooting deployments.

In the first week you will:

  • Get to know the OBO team
  • Get to know OBO’s process
  • Identify knowledge gaps

In the first month you will:

  • Get to know existing technical processes
  • Support client architecture development and system design
  • Close knowledge gaps and be familiar with OBO’s technology stack
  • Identify personal goals that align with the company vision
  • Participate in code and design reviews

In the first three months you will:

  • Successfully provide leadership on complex technical issues
  • Develop team-wide training and process standardization
  • Identify internal processes for optimization

Requirements

About You:

  • Thorough understanding of data systems and architecture.
  • Experience with complex CRM/MA integration projects (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, Pardot, Marketo, ETC).
  • Advanced database experience and an in-depth understanding of database-driven systems.
  • Competent in an array of programming languages.
  • Deep understanding of API creation and deployment.
  • Experience in Enterprise CRM and marketing automation data models.
  • Understanding of containers, cloud providers, and testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of complex marketing and sales processes.
  • Top-notch communicator! You’re able to break down and explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • People management experience. You enjoy mentoring new talent and providing guidance and leadership to technical teams.

Preferred:

  • CRM deployment experience with Salesforce or Hubspot.
  • Application integration experience (e.g. data migration & integrations).
  • PostgreSQL Expertise
  • Mastery of Python & Javascript
  • Knowledge of web front-ends.
