OBO, 2x winner of Baltimore's Best Places to Work, is seeking our first in-house marketing manager to own OBO's brand marketing, develop new strategies, support business development efforts, write great content and create enticing campaigns that leverage our amazing marketplace reputation!
This is THE PERFECT position for someone with hands-on digital marketing & content experience who's looking to own marketing strategy and process from concept to execution. Eventually, this person would build a marketing team around themselves to expand their efforts.
You'll be working closely with our co-founders and various members of our teams including sales, technology, and operations to develop new business through a variety of digital and traditional marketing channels. This role will require organization, vision, enthusiasm, and a deep understanding of what we do. We need you to effectively convey our value prop to clients and prospects alike.
The person hired for this position will build on and enhance our already amazing reputation in the marketplace. We’ve built strong partnerships with top providers earning us an abundance of inbound leads. You will create strategy & content to build OBO's outbound lead gen. Shout our accolades from the rooftop making it easier to both close new business and continue to retain our existing clients.
The person hired for this role will need:
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you have a knack for writing killer copy, and knowing it when you see it! (Blogs, articles, ads, email, case studies, etc)
Ability to effectively develop and execute powerful marketing strategies
Ability to work closely with the sales function to align inbound and outbound marketing opportunities
Experience to define marketing processes that drive desired inbound leads
Experience in social media strategy and implementation
Ability to develop and execute ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
Ability to produce valuable content for the OBO's online presence, editorial design, and organizing the company’s publications
Experience reporting on marketing activities including general performance data and lead attribution
Bonus: HubSpot, Salesforce, and Monday.com experience is a huge plus!

Begin deep-dive research, conduct voice of customer interviews, interview stakeholders, and
Create original case studies, blog content, and web copy
Begin to develop a quarterly strategy for marketing with the sales and operations team
Analyze and report on marketing and sales metrics; adjusting efforts as needed
Work with leadership to establish OBO's brand voice, tone, and content focus areas
Have an end-to-end strategy for 2021 OBO marketing
Have understood and redesigned (as needed) the full customer journey through all marketing touchpoints
Establish and execute a communication strategy for OBO that drives awareness for our brand and technology category
Continue to propel OBO's marketing efforts to meet company sales goals
